The
Zeco Kids School Crew Neck T-Shirt (Twin Pack) in Green is a children's green school uniform T-shirt from Zeco Schoolwear, made from 100% combed cotton at 200–210gsm heavyweight and manufactured in India. A non-seasonal piece in the Back to School collection, it features a crew neck with a taped neck seam, a regular fit, and comes as a twin pack — for boys and girls from 2 years through to 18 years. The green is an emerald tone — a mid-depth, saturated green that is the standard shade for UK schools that specify green as part of their uniform colour.
Green is one of the most widely used school uniform colours in the UK after white, navy, and black, and the majority of schools that specify green do so as the primary colour of their uniform identity rather than as a secondary accent. An emerald green T-shirt is the foundation piece for schools with a green-dominant uniform: worn under a green sweatshirt or jumper, worn alone on warm days, or worn as the core colour beneath a school logo sweatshirt that is too warm for indoor use. The twin pack format — two identical T-shirts per purchase — provides the minimum rotation for a five-day school week without laundry pressure, which applies to coloured uniforms exactly as it does to white.
The construction detail that separates this from budget schoolwear is consistent regardless of colourway. At 200–210gsm, the heavyweight combed cotton carries more dye mass than a thin jersey equivalent, which means the green maintains its depth and saturation through repeated washing rather than fading to a washed-out pale tone by the end of the first term. The taped neck seam prevents the crew neck from stretching out of shape, which is particularly visible on a coloured T-shirt where the internal taping or label can show if the neckline distorts. For parents buying a green school T-shirt that will be worn five days a week through an academic year, fabric quality is the factor that determines whether the purchase lasts the year or requires mid-year replacement.

Care: Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours. Wash inside out on every cycle to slow colour fading — the same principle applies to green as to any saturated colour, where drum friction on the outer face accelerates dye release from the surface fibres. Wash with similar greens or with other mid-toned colours — avoid washing with whites, as green dye can transfer at higher temperatures. Do not tumble dry on high heat. Air dry or use a low heat setting away from direct sunlight, which fades saturated colours unevenly. Iron on a medium setting on the reverse.
