The Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine Lens for Canon RF, in its sleek black finish, is a high-quality, professional-grade lens that offers ultra-wide-angle coverage up to an impressive 113-degree angle of view. This makes it a versatile choice for a variety of shooting scenarios, including landscape, architecture, and interior photography. Designed with mirrorless cameras in mind, this lightweight lens is perfectly suited for use with gimbals, providing flexibility and ease of use in various settings. The innovative Cine version features standard 0.8 mod gears on both the aperture and focus rings, and a standard 55mm filter thread for easy mounting of screw-in filters. The lens boasts two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, which work together to successfully correct chromatic aberration, achieve close-to-zero distortion, and deliver excellent corner-to-corner sharpness. Despite its wide 113-degree distortion-free field of view, the lens maintains a compact size, making it the smallest in its class. The Laowa 9mm Cine lens is compatible with Super 35, APS-C, and Micro Four Thirds cameras, achieving a field of view of 120 degrees (Super 35 sensor), 113 degrees (APS-C), and 100 degrees (MFT). The lens is housed in a professional cinema casing, optimized for film and video production to improve efficiency and streamline your workflow. Weighing in at only 247g, this lens is perfect for in-vehicle shots, handheld, on Gimbel, and other special settings. The close-to-zero distortion (Zero-D) design is particularly useful when shooting architectural, aerial, and indoor footage. The lens features a bright T2.9 maximum aperture, ideal for shooting under low-light conditions and controlling depth of field. With a minimum focusing distance of just 4.7" (12cm), filmmakers can compose with more flexibility and control over wider perspectives. Each Laowa Cine Lens comes with a genuine Pelican case for hassle-free transportation, ensuring your lens is always protected and ready for your next shoot.
