What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've been wearing the MTE Crosspath Shoes on everything from quick neighborhood walks to weekend hikes outside town. The traction feels solid on loose dirt and wet pavement, and the cushioning keeps my feet comfortable even after long days on the move. They feel like a natural step up from everyday sneakers when I know the route might get a little rough."Some days start on city sidewalks and end somewhere far less predictable. The Vans MTE Crosspath Shoes are built for those routes that wander from pavement to dirt paths, lakeside trails, and back again. Lightweight meshes and reinforced panels keep the shoe breathable and durable, while the water-repellent finish shrugs off light rain and damp mornings.Underfoot, a cushioned midsole made with plant-derived EVA softens long days on the move while maintaining the responsive feel we expect from everyday footwear. The redesigned All-Trac outsole adds deeper braking and climbing lugs for confident traction across mixed terrain, whether we're navigating slick sidewalks after a storm or cutting across loose gravel on the way to the trailhead.
