Founded in 1643; on the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV; Cire Trudon is the oldest Candlemaker in the world still active today. This luxury candle is presented in a deep sage green glass vessel that showcases a meticulously detailed; hand-affixed golden crest. It opens with an atmospheric combination of leather; Siberian pine; and fir tree; transitioning into a heart of guaiac wood; Chinese cedar; and warm myrrh before yielding to a rich foundation of ambergris; Spanish cistus; absolute incense; and patchouli.
