When we're sick of sleeping on closed-cell foam pads, we upgrade our camping kit with the Therm-a-Rest Trail Scout Sleeping Pad, which delivers premium comfort without the premium price tag. With an R-value of 3.1, the sleeping bag is well-suited for three-season adventures, and the lightweight design and small packed size make it a great option for overnight backpacking trips. The self-inflating foam design takes the work out of setting up our sleeping space, requiring only a few breaths to be fully inflated after a rewarding day of hiking our favorite trails.
