What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This jacket’s been a killer choice for storm days at the resort and bootpacks into sidecountry stashes. The GORE-TEX keeps me totally dry without overheating, and I love how the articulated cut moves with me on the way up and down. All the features I want—nothing extra to weigh me down."When conditions change by the hour but the turns keep coming, we trust the Summit Eastwall GTX Jacket from The North Face to keep us dry, focused, and charging. Built for both inbounds pow days and backcountry laps beyond the ropes, this shell pairs GORE-TEX 3L waterproofing with a feature-forward design that thrives in technical terrain. Whether we’re skinning for fresh tracks or loading the first lift, it’s a dependable layer we reach for in high-exposure conditions. This jacket is cut with articulated patterning for active movement, while the helmet-compatible hood and underarm vents help us adapt to the environment. A stretch-woven powder skirt seals out the storm, and thoughtful pocketing includes mesh stash spots and a secure wrist pass pocket with built-in goggle wipe. Built with recycled materials and finished with a non-PFC DWR coating, the Eastwall delivers premium performance in a refined, mountain-focused silhouette.
