What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve outfitted plenty of kids in these for shoulder-season hikes and school commutes. They’re warm for their weight, easy to pull on, and the Etip function really does save the constant take-off, put-on cycle. Just make sure to size up—they run a bit small."When crisp air settles in and our young adventurer is eager to stay outside, we reach for the Sierra Etip Mitten from The North Face to keep their hands comfortable through the day’s exploring. The high-pile fleece interior brings soft warmth the moment it slips on, giving chilly fingers a quick reprieve while they wander trails, playgrounds, and backyard paths. The slip-on cuff and webbing pull make getting ready simple, and the grippy silicone palm helps them hold onto hiking poles, water bottles, or a favorite trail treasure. Etip technology lets us—or them—tap a screen without peeling a mitten off in the cold, keeping momentum moving on family hikes or camp mornings. For cool-weather outings that call for warmth, ease, and kid-friendly function, the Sierra Etip Mitten keeps small hands happy outdoors.
