What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“I wear these when I want warmth I don’t have to think about. They’re easy to pull on, stay dry in wet snow, and keep my hands comfortable whether I’m shoveling, riding lifts, or walking around town.”Cold fingers end winter days early, so we lean on insulation that works without constant fuss. We use the Montana Puffer Mitten from The North Face for resort laps, snowy chores, and everyday winter outings when warmth and weather protection matter more than dexterity. The mitt design traps heat efficiently, making long stretches in freezing temperatures far more comfortable. The waterproof DryVent shell seals out snow and moisture, while seam sealing prevents leaks in sloppy conditions. ThermoBall Eco insulation retains heat even when wet, keeping hands warm through variable weather. A soft lining adds comfort, and the slip-on elastic cuff seals around the wrist to block drafts. Integrated wrist leashes keep mitts close during quick breaks or transitions.
