What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I recommend this jacket when real winter weather is on the forecast. It’s warm without being overly bulky, and the DryVent shell does a great job blocking wind and snow. The pockets and hood make it practical for long days outside, whether that’s on the hill or walking to school in freezing temps." We trust the McMurdo Hooded Jacket when cold days demand dependable warmth and weather protection. Designed by The North Face for full-on winter conditions, this jacket keeps adventures going when snow is falling and temperatures drop fast. From sledding hills to snowy trail walks, it offers the kind of coverage that makes winter feel manageable—and fun.The recycled nylon shell is backed by a DryVent 2-layer laminate to seal out snow and moisture while staying breathable during active play. Inside, 600-fill recycled goose down provides lofty warmth without excess weight, and the insulated three-piece hood adds extra protection when storms roll in. With multiple secure pockets and a durable build, the McMurdo Hooded Jacket is ready for winter days that don’t slow down.
