What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "This parka is a beast in the best way. The DryVent shell keeps me dry in full-on winter storms, and the recycled down is seriously warm without feeling overly puffy. The pocket layout is super practical, and the removable faux fur lets you choose between functional and classic winter style." We reach for the McMurdo Down Parka when winter storms roll in and the cold is here to stay. The North Face equips this everyday winter workhorse with a fully waterproof DryVent shell that keeps snow and sleet from soaking through, all while packing in lofty recycled down insulation that wraps us in dependable warmth during the coldest commutes of the season. Built entirely with recycled fibers, it delivers the reinforcement we need while keeping waste down.Extended upper-thigh coverage shields us from biting winds, and a draft flap, hook-and-loop cuffs, and adjustable hood work together to lock in heat when temperatures plummet. The removable faux-fur trim gives us adaptable styling for storm days or clear, cold mornings, and the abundance of pockets ensures space for warming hands and storing essentials. Durable, protective, and reliably warm, the McMurdo keeps us moving confidently through winter’s most challenging days.
