What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve been wearing the Descendit Jacket on storm days and windy groomer laps, and it holds up impressively well. The insulation is warm without overheating, and the vents dump heat fast when I need it. It’s everything I want in a dedicated resort jacket—durable, breathable, and super functional."Whether we’re chasing first chairs or cruising corduroy all day, the Descendit Jacket from The North Face keeps us warm, dry, and ready for whatever winter delivers. Its waterproof DRYVENT™ 2-layer shell blocks out snow and wind, while lightweight HEATSEEKER™ insulation maintains comfortable warmth from base to summit. The Descendit is packed with resort-friendly features, including an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, secure wrist pass pocket with goggle wipe, and large interior mesh drop-in pockets for gloves or goggles. Underarm vents offer crucial breathability on high-output runs, and the powder skirt and cinchable hem seal out snow. With a durable design, recycled materials, and TNF’s technical build, this jacket is ready to ride.
