What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This tent is a fortress in the alpine. The FUTURELIGHT fabric is both breathable and waterproof, keeping me dry without trapping condensation. It pitches quickly with the X-tent design, and the carbon-fiber poles are impressively strong yet light. It's my go-to for high-altitude missions."The North Face Assault 2 FUTURELIGHT Tent redefines protection and performance for alpine adventures. Designed with FUTURELIGHT 3L technology, this tent delivers an advanced, breathable-waterproof barrier that keeps us dry and comfortable in challenging mountain conditions. With a lightweight single-wall design, it's built to handle unpredictable weather while remaining easy to carry on long approaches. Carbon-fiber Easton Syclone poles ensure incredible strength and durability without adding weight, while the X-tent pitch design makes setup quick and efficient. Dual top vents enhance airflow, reducing condensation on long, stormy nights, and the removable vestibule provides extra storage when we need it. This tent is our trusted shelter for tackling the most demanding terrain, from high-altitude expeditions to rugged alpine climbs.
