What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve fit a lot of kids in this jacket, and it’s one of those pieces that earns parent trust fast. The down lofts quickly, the outer fabric is tougher than it looks, and the elastic cuffs help keep heat in even when little ones refuse to slow down."The 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket from The North Face brings the same iconic silhouette we rely on into a version made for family adventures. Whether we're walking to school in frosty air, heading to the sled hill, or stepping out for an afternoon of cold-weather play, the 700-fill down offers instant warmth without weighing anyone down.Recycled nylon ripstop and an abrasion-resistant yoke stand up to rough surfaces, snowy tumbles, and general kid energy. A non-PFC DWR finish helps light moisture bead away, while secure pockets keep mittens and small treasures from disappearing. With the bold, oversized logos and classic horizontal baffles, this jacket blends throwback style with the reliable performance young adventurers put to the test every day.
