What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Mayen Quilted Insulated Jacket on a full week of classic skiing in genuinely cold conditions, and the stretch fleece panels made a noticeable difference in how freely I could move through each kick cycle. The thumbholes and comfort stretch cuffs kept everything locked in place without me ever having to stop and adjust, which is exactly what you want when you are in a groove on a long trail."Nordic skiing rewards efficiency, and the right jacket is part of that equation. The Swix Mayen Quilted Insulated Jacket balances 130g of synthetic insulation in the quilted panels with stretch fleece side and back panels that move with your body rather than against it. The result is a jacket that keeps your core warm through a cold morning warm-up and stays out of the way when the effort picks up, and you find your stride.Swix built the Mayen with the details that matter on a full day in the tracks. Thumbholes and comfort stretch cuffs keep sleeves exactly where they belong through every pole plant and push. A chin guard with storm placket seals out wind at the collar, the back zip pocket gives you secure storage for essentials you need on the trail, and the internal media pocket keeps your device accessible without adding bulk. Reflective details and an eco-friendly DWR finish on recycled nylon round out a jacket built to perform and built to last.
