Sensitive skin types
SKIN CONCERN:
Redness, Dryness
WHAT IT DOES:
Sisley Research has drawn on the latest scientific advances to offer an effective solution to the three physiological causes of sensitive skin, so it can finally be free from daily discomfort. Sensitive skin reacts to normally inoffensive stimuli, such as chemical, physical, emotional or lifestyle-related factors. These reactions are due to hyperreactive skin nerve fibers, causing feelings of discomfort (prickling, tightness, itching, and hot sensations), followed by a cascade of reactions in the skin which can lead to visible redness. Sensitive skin may also lack lipids, which play an essential role for the skin's protective barrier by nourishing and preventing skin dehydration.
- Soothing Care for Sensitive Skin provides immediate comfort, reducing the appearance of redness and promoting soft, supple and hydrated skin.
- After two weeks, skin feels stronger and more resilient. Its tolerance threshold appears to be raised.
- After four weeks, skin feels lastingly comfortable. It is visibly more radiant, beautiful and looks younger. A wider choice of Sisley products can then be used while keeping Soothing Care for Sensitive Skin as a first step in all routines. Those with sensitive skin can finally break free from daily discomfort!
KEY INGREDIENTS:
To meet the very specific requirements of sensitive skin, Soothing Care has a very high-tolerance, minimalist formula:
- Golden Seaweed extract limits skin hyperreactivity and the appearance of redness.
- Rhamnose Polysaccharide also supports calming the skin.
- Japanese Lily of the Valley extract boosts skin's resilience (tested in vitro and in vivo).
- Shea butter, Rapeseed oil and Plum kernel oil provide skin with comfort and nutrition.
- Natural fragrance is provided exclusively by the key ingredients. The formula is sterilized and free from preservatives. It is protected by ultra-airtight packaging.
HOW TO USE IT:
Apply Soothing Care for Sensitive Skin to the face morning and evening after cleansing with a product suitable for sensitive skin, ideally Sisley Paris Triple-oil Balm Make-up Remover & Cleanser. Gently massage until product is absorbed. We recommend that you follow this minimalist routine for one month to soothe skin and raise it's tolerance threshold. Once skin is soothed and stable, a wider choice of Sisley products can be used, while keeping Soothing Care as a first step in all routines. Use our Sensitive Skin diagnosis, available online or at points of sale, to create your ideal custom skincare routine.
