What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore this through a full day wade fishing in midsummer heat and the brrr° fabric kept me genuinely comfortable in a way that most performance shirts just talk about. The side-entry chest pockets swallow a fly box without any awkward bulk, and the chamois at the hem has become one of those features I did not know I needed until I could not imagine fishing without it."Midday sun, still water, and a hatch worth staying out for. The Simms Stone Cold Short-Sleeve Shirt was made for the kind of fishing day that tests your patience and your gear in equal measure, arriving with brrr° Triple Chill Effect technology woven directly into a stretch nylon construction that pulls moisture away, dries fast, and keeps the body temperature honest when the sun has no intention of letting up.At 110 gsm the fabric stays light and mobile through hours of casting without trapping heat against the skin, and UPF 50+ coverage means the focus stays on the water rather than the sun overhead. Two side-entry zippered chest pockets open wide enough to fit a large fly box and keep it secure whether wading a fast current or scrambling down a steep bank to reach the right run. A built-in chamois stitched into the center hem keeps lenses clean and always within reach, turning what could have been a small frustration into a non-issue from the very first cast of the morning.
