What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "This is my go-to suit for shoulder-season surf when the water’s cool but not freezing. It’s surprisingly flexible for a back-zip, and I love that it’s made with Yulex rubber and recycled materials. Easy to get in and out of, and it holds up session after session."Cool water and early surf calls are no problem when we suit up in the Rip Curl Dawn Patrol 3/2 Back-Zip Full Wetsuit. Designed for comfort, performance, and sustainability, this suit keeps us warm while we paddle into that perfect set. With strategic paneling and stretchy construction, it gives us full freedom of movement for duck dives and pop-ups, even on long days in the lineup. Built with a trifecta of Rip Curl’s premium neoprenes—E5 flash lining, E5, and E4 thermo—the Dawn Patrol balances warmth and stretch in all the right places. The Yulex® natural rubber and recycled external jersey deliver a lower-impact ride, while the water-based lamination minimizes environmental footprint. The back-zip design adds simplicity and reliability when we’re suiting up at the beach or in the lot. Whether we’re chasing springtime swell or late-season sessions, this suit delivers consistent comfort and flex.
