What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I picked these up for a young adventurer in my family who spends hours jumping waves and racing along the sand. They dry fast, feel light even when soaked, and the elastic waist keeps them secure through nonstop motion. They’ve quickly become a summer staple."We love showing up to bright, warm days knowing the Somero Shorts from Reima will keep young explorers comfortable from shoreline splashing to backyard water play. Built from lightweight recycled polyester, these shorts dry quickly and resist the effects of salt, chlorine, and constant movement. Reima’s SunProof fabric adds UPF 50+ coverage, providing dependable protection that stays effective even after hours in the sun.A mesh inner lining adds support during active water sessions, while side pockets offer simple storage for treasures collected along the way. The elastic waistband with a drawstring adjustment makes it easy to secure the fit before the next round of play begins. Whether the day calls for swimming, running, or digging deep into the sand, the Somero Shorts adapt effortlessly to the rhythm of summer exploration.
