In honor of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, PUMA teams up with Roc Nation and designer Alexander John on a new collection that pays homage to an important piece of hip-hop history: the mixtape. The star of this collection is the PUMA RS-XL. Three versions of the shoe have been designed around different mixtape formats: cassettes, CDs, and playlists. Each shoe features an LTG Tag containing unreleased music from Roc Nation, plus exclusive video content with artists and industry leaders. For those out to make the perfect playlist, the PUMA RS-XL Playlist is inspired by the endless pursuit of curating vibes through music. They’re loaded with graphics from music in the digital era like scroll wheels and download buttons. These digital-age kicks also come with a piece of high tech. Tap your phone to the tongue of the shoe for a playlist made by Roc Nation, plus exclusive video content. Groove to the beat of your favorite hits in the PUMA RS-X Playlist. Textile, synthetic, TPU, and leather upper provides maximum comfort. Rubber midsole adds flexibility and cushioning.
