Kick It Into High Gear With Puma's New Propulsive Speed Trainer
When you want a shoe that can handle everything from your daily miles to speed workouts to race day, the Deviate Pure NITRO is up for the task. This new non-plated speed trainer offers all the bounce and propulsion you need to bring exciting race-day energy into all your training miles.
The smooth propulsion and exceptional energy return come from the full layer of NITROFOAM cushioning underfoot. This premium nitrogen-infused foam has been reformulated to offer even more spring and responsiveness in every step, creating a high-performance feel designed to help you tackle any grueling track workouts, intervals, or uptempo runs.
While the speed and propulsion stem from the midsole design, the engineered mesh upper contributes even more to the speedy, lightweight construction. The upper design is streamlined and breathable, with a secure fit around the foot for distraction-free runs. But this minimal design doesn't sacrifice overall comfort. The extra padding around the heel and tongue ensures a premium feel from the initial step-in to the last mile.
When you flip the shoe over, you'll find Puma's signature PUMAGRIP rubber outsole. This grippy and resilient rubber ensures maximum traction and longevity so you can enjoy miles and miles of wear in these fun and energetic trainers.
