Puebco's creator was visiting a textile town in India, and found a specialty store that deals only in scraps. The bright neon colored fabric is from the sari, the traditional dress worn by Indian women. A sari is a single piece of cloth 5 to 9 meters long that is wrapped around the body, making the fabric thin and light.
