What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've ridden the Pro Road Cycling Shoe on long training days and hard efforts alike, and the dual BOA L6C dials with TX lace guides give me a snug, pressure-free fit that stays consistent mile after mile — no hot spots, no cable pressure, just a clean lockdown across the whole foot. The 1:1 PRO Carbon Power Plate is noticeably stiff underfoot, and the perforated upper keeps airflow moving even when the pace and temperature both climb."Long road days sort out the gear that holds up from the gear that just looks good at the start, and the PEARL iZUMi Pro Road Cycling Shoe is built for the former. From early morning training rides to race day, this shoe stays comfortable, efficient, and dialed in without asking for anything in return.PEARL iZUMi designed the Pro Road around a perforated synthetic leather upper that delivers durability and breathability in equal measure, keeping airflow consistent during high-output efforts and warm conditions. Dual BOA® L6C dials provide precise, independent closure across two zones, and TX lace guides replace traditional BOA cables to eliminate the pressure points and hot spots that accumulate over long rides. Underfoot, the 1:1 PRO Carbon Power Plate maximizes stiffness for direct, efficient power transfer through a 3-bolt cleat interface, while the dual-density 1:1 footbed provides ergonomic support tuned for the demands of sustained pedaling. Backed by a lifetime warranty, this is a shoe built to stay in the rotation for the long haul.
