What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I rely on these shorts for long runs when I need storage without bounce. They’re incredibly light, dry fast, and the envelope pockets actually work for gels and snacks. The liner stays comfortable even after hours on the move, making these my top choice for warm-weather training." We pull on the Strider Pro 7in Shorts when the day calls for big miles and minimal distractions. Patagonia designed these shorts with long runs in mind, blending featherweight comfort with smart storage that lets us leave the vest behind. From early-morning trail runs to sunbaked road miles, they move effortlessly and stay out of the way.The recycled stretch fabric breathes well and sheds light moisture, while the built-in liner feels soft against the skin and manages sweat during high-output efforts. Multiple stretch envelope pockets keep fuel within easy reach, and a secure rear zip pocket protects keys and cards. Dialed for performance and built with thoughtful materials, these shorts are made to disappear once the run begins.
