What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I toss the Wind Pro Hat in my pack all winter because it punches way above its weight. The Polartec Wind Pro fabric blocks gusts shockingly well, and the fleece lining feels great when I'm pushing hard on ski tours or hikes. It fits cleanly under a helmet too, which makes it my go-to on storm days."We depend on the Outdoor Research Wind Pro Hat when cold winds try to push us off the trail or skintrack. With its Polartec Wind Pro exterior, it stands up to gusts that cut through ordinary fleece, giving us steady warmth whether we’re digging pits, cruising ridge lines, or heading into town after a long day outside. The fleece backer adds soft, next-to-skin comfort that keeps us reaching for it throughout the season. Its snug, low-profile fit layers smoothly under helmets and hoods and stays secure when we’re moving quickly. Breathable synthetic fibers help manage heat and moisture during high-output climbs or brisk commutes, making this beanie a lightweight but reliable defense against winter’s bite.
