What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "These mittens are awesome for high-output days when I still need real warmth. VerticalX Eco SR is super impressive—it feels warm like down but handles moisture way better. The Chamude palm has great grip, and the stretch cuff makes them incredibly easy to pull on while keeping drafts out." We pull on the Shadow Insulated Mitten when cold conditions call for reliable warmth and all-day versatility. VerticalX Eco SR insulation—built with recycled fibers—delivers impressive heat retention without adding bulk, keeping our hands cozy whether we’re carving groomers, hiking snowy trails, or roaming around town. The soft polyester lining with HeiQ Smart Temp technology helps manage moisture and ensures comfort, even during energetic ascents.Chamude synthetic leather on the palm boosts durability and grip, giving us confidence when holding ski poles, leash handles, or gear straps. Movement-mirroring stretch allows our hands to move naturally, while the slip-on cuff creates a secure barrier against the elements. Finished with a glove clip for staying paired between uses, these mittens are a dependable staple for winter excursions.
