What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "This jacket is perfect for touring and resort days alike. The 3-layer GORE-TEX shell blocks everything from wet storms to dry powder, and the C-knit backer keeps it comfortable to wear over a base or midlayer. I like that it’s light enough for uphill missions but has all the features—pockets, vents, and a helmet-compatible hood—for serious downhill riding."Whether we’re skinning toward an untouched alpine face or dropping into a stormy resort lap, the Norrona Lyngen GORE-TEX Jacket provides the weatherproofing and mobility we need for all-day comfort. Built with a 3-layer GORE-TEX ePE C-knit construction, this shell balances reliable waterproof protection with breathable performance, making it equally suited for cold lift rides and high-output climbs.Thoughtful features add to its versatility: a helmet-compatible storm hood adjusts to seal out snow, zippered chest ventilation dumps excess heat on the ascent, and multiple pockets keep essentials secure. The lightweight, technical fit ensures unrestricted movement, while fully sealed seams prevent moisture from seeping in. Sustainably made with recycled nylon and a PFC-free finish, this jacket is as eco-conscious as it is high-performing. The Lyngen is the jacket we trust for season-long versatility in the backcountry and beyond.
