The stepping motor provides fast and quiet autofocusing, ideal for both still photography and video recording. Focus breathing is greatly reduced, allowing for smooth focus transitions in video work. The NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 is designed with a retractable mechanism for portability and is extensively weather-sealed to withstand the elements. Its close focusing capability is excellent for detailed shots, and the click-free iris control enables smooth exposure changes during video recording.Compatible with both Z-Mount and, via the optional Mount Adapter FTZ, over 90 F-Mount NIKKOR lenses, the Nikon Z 5 offers unparalleled versatility.
