What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Pegasus ACG Trail is the shoe I reach for when I want something light and nimble that still has enough grip to handle wet or unpredictable sections. The ReactX midsole keeps things snappy without feeling harsh, and coming in under nine ounces makes a real difference on longer efforts where you want your feet to stay fresh."Every run tells a different story, and the Pegasus ACG Trail Running Shoe is ready for all of them. Light enough to move quickly and cushioned enough to stay comfortable, it handles the kind of routes that start on dirt and wander wherever the trail leads. Nike built this shoe around the idea that moderate terrain should feel approachable — so the focus stays on the run, not on managing the ground underfoot. The wider forefoot gives toes the room they need to splay naturally, improving stability and keeping things comfortable from the first mile to the last. The updated ReactX foam midsole brings more stack height than the previous generation, delivering an energetic, responsive ride that pushes back with every stride. Nike's redesigned All Terrain Compound outsole handles wet rock, loose dirt, and rooted paths with improved traction that inspires real confidence when the surface gets unpredictable. A lightweight engineered mesh upper keeps airflow high and weight low, wrapping the foot in a breathable, durable structure that holds up across varied conditions and steady weekly mileage.
