What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I use the Trail Glove 8 when I want that close-to-the-ground feel without losing protection. The burrito tongue really does wrap the foot comfortably, and the rear sling keeps the heel locked in even on faster runs. It has enough cushioning to smooth out hard surfaces while still feeling minimal and responsive."We lace up the Trail Glove 8 Running Shoe when we want to move with intention—steady, nimble, and connected to the terrain underfoot. Merrell’s barefoot-inspired construction gives this shoe a natural feel, pairing breathable mesh with a flexible platform that supports quick transitions on packed trails, park laps, and everyday routes. The burrito tongue keeps the upper wrapped securely around our foot, and the padded collar softens each stride so we can stay focused on our rhythm.Built with recycled materials throughout, the Trail Glove 8 balances eco-minded design with reliable performance. The external sling locks in the heel, a protective toe cap shields from debris, and the integrated EVA foam and FloatPro midsole provide lightweight comfort that lasts over long miles. When we want freedom of movement and a true sense of connection to the ground, this shoe delivers the feel we’re after.
