What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I use the Trail Glove 8 when I want to feel connected to the ground without going fully minimal. The Barefoot 2 platform keeps my stride natural, and the Vibram outsole grips really well on hardpack and rocky sections. It’s protective where it matters but still incredibly light and flexible."We lace up the Trail Glove 8 Running Shoe for days when we want to move lightly and stay tuned in to every shift in the terrain. Its breathable mesh and TPU upper keep airflow constant as the pace picks up, while a burrito-style tongue wraps our foot comfortably to reduce hotspots on long outings. A padded collar and abrasion-resistant toe cap add protection without weighing us down, and the recycled mesh lining keeps things cool from first mile to last.Merrell’s Barefoot 2 construction encourages a natural running stride, helping us stay balanced and nimble on rolling trails. Underfoot, a FloatPro Foam midsole adds cushioning that lasts through long efforts, while the Vibram TC5+ outsole grips confidently across multi-surface terrain. Whether we’re cruising forest paths or picking through technical rock, the Trail Glove 8 Running Shoe helps us stay grounded—literally.
