Toni Maticevski is a master of complex volume and intricate drapery; creating sculptural ready-to-wear that challenges conventional notions of femininity. The Melbourne-based designer; who launched his label in 1999; is celebrated for his sophisticated manipulation of fabric and exquisitely constructed architectural silhouettes. The Prosper Dress reflects the designer’s signature sculptural aesthetic with its softly draped high neckline and fluid sleeveless silhouette. Cut to a midi length; the design falls into a striking asymmetric hem that creates elegant movement and architectural dimension. Minimal yet dramatic; it’s a refined statement piece for modern evening and occasion dressing.
