What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve used this vest as my go-to midlayer for shoulder-season objectives, and the warmth-to-weight is spot on. PrimaLoft stays warm even when my shell gets damp, and the stretch in the lining keeps it comfortable over baselayers. It packs down easily, breathes well when I’m moving uphill, and still blocks enough wind to wear on its own."We throw on the Norvus LT Vest when the day calls for light, fast movement and a dependable layer that adapts as quickly as we do. Marmot’s synthetic insulation steps up the moment the wind picks up or the sky shifts, keeping us warm on early approaches and transition breaks without weighing us down. On ridge scrambles, skin tracks, and cool desert mornings, the Norvus LT Vest keeps us centered in that sweet spot where warmth meets mobility.PrimaLoft Silver Active insulation stays resilient through damp, variable conditions, offering heat even when the weather turns wet. The recycled ripstop shell gives us abrasion resistance for brushy trails and rough rock, while the stretch lining keeps the fit smooth as we layer or move. Weather protection comes from a PFC-free water-repellent finish, adding confidence for quick outings without a full shell. And with secure pockets for the essentials, we stay organized as we shift from one objective to the next.
