What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I’ve been using the Rime IN Hooded Jacket as my go-to midlayer in cold conditions. It packs down small, stays warm even when damp, and the zoned insulation keeps it feeling mobile. Whether I’m climbing, skiing, or just layering up for a chilly hike, this jacket always earns its spot in my pack." From cold alpine starts to windswept ridgelines, the Mammut Rime IN Hooded Jacket is ready to tackle any adventure. Synthetic Mammut® insulation delivers reliable warmth even in wet conditions, and the zoned fill weights—heavier in the body and lighter in the sleeves and hood—balance heat retention with freedom of movement. The lightweight, abrasion-resistant fabric shrugs off scuffs from packs and rock, and a PFC-free DWR finish adds extra weather protection against light precipitation. A fully adjustable helmet-compatible hood and an easy-to-use two-way front zipper make it simple to stay comfortable on the move, while harness-compatible pockets keep essentials close at hand. When the sun comes out, the Rime IN packs down small into its own pocket so you can keep your kit streamlined.
