The transition zone at the top of a long climb is no place to be fumbling with gear, and the Eiger Speed IN 1/2-Zip Hoodie from Mammut was designed with that exact moment in mind. It lives compressed in its own chest pocket until the wind picks up or the belay starts, then deploys in seconds to keep the cold from cutting into the effort you just put in to get there. 900-fill DRYDown insulation handles the core while body-mapped PrimaLoft Gold Active synthetic takes over at the forearms, shoulders, and hood, targeting warmth and moisture management precisely where each material performs best. The 2-way half zip gives you ventilation control on the move, and the low-profile elastic hem and cuffs seal in heat without adding bulk under a shell. At 254 grams, this hoodie pulls its weight without adding any.
