We pack the Eiger Nordwand Light HS Hooded Jacket when the route calls for speed, precision, and absolute trust in our shell. Mammut’s ultralight 3-layer GORE-TEX construction keeps us dry through sudden storms and wind blasts while breathing well enough for steep, high-output movement. Even in exposed terrain, the recycled polyamide face fabric stands up to scrapes and pack abrasion without weighing us down. Technical design choices show their value the moment the weather shifts. The helmet-compatible hood adjusts easily with one hand, and the articulated cut lets us climb, traverse, and scramble without restriction. A pack-friendly chest pocket holds essentials, while elastic hem and cuffs seal out drafts. Built with the Eiger Extreme ethos and designed for repairability, the Eiger Nordwand Light HS Hooded Jacket is ready for demanding objectives where weight, reliability, and protection all matter.
