We rely on the Eiger Nordwand IN Flex Air Hybrid Hooded Jacket when the mission demands constant movement, shifting weather, and insulation that works as hard as we do. Mammut builds this jacket with a body-mapped blend of Polartec Alpha Direct, Pertex Quantum Air, and stretchy Power Grid fleece to strike a rare balance of warmth, breathability, and mobility. The result is a layer that feels dialed for steep ascents, exposed traverses, and nonstop alpine effort. During high-output pushes, the open-structure insulation releases heat before it builds, while the wind-resistant shell shields us from sudden gusts. A fitted hood stays secure without limiting vision, and climbing-focused articulation ensures clean movement when we’re reaching, stemming, or swinging tools. Thoughtful details—like backpack-compatible pockets, elastic cuffs, and repair-friendly YKK zippers—add reliability for long days in technical terrain. Whether worn as an active midlayer or as a standalone piece on fast, cold approaches, the Eiger Nordwand IN Flex Air Hybrid Hooded Jacket keeps us warm, ventilated, and ready for the next pitch.
