What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying: “I like these shorts for climbing because they strike a great balance between comfort and mobility. The fabric stretches easily for high steps, the waistband stays secure without digging in, and they’re comfortable enough to wear all day, whether I’m training indoors or climbing outside.” We reach for the Crag Climbing Short when the focus is on movement, whether we’re training in the gym or dialing in sequences on an outdoor project. Designed by Mammut for climbers who value comfort and function, these shorts feel natural on the wall and relaxed once we step back onto the ground. The organic cotton blend delivers soft, breathable comfort with just enough stretch to move freely through high steps and heel hooks. A climbing-specific cut adds room through the thighs for unrestricted motion, while an elastic waistband with a drawstring keeps the fit secure without distractions. Simple, durable, and built to climb, these shorts stay comfortable move after move.
