What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I spent a few days on the Pandora 85 carving morning corduroy, and it’s one of those skis that just feels intuitive right away. It’s light underfoot and super easy to roll edge to edge, which made short turns feel natural. When I ducked into some side hits and mixed snow, the early rise kept it smooth and forgiving. For anyone focused on groomers but still curious about exploring the edges of the trail, this ski makes the whole mountain feel approachable."Who It’s ForBeginner to Intermediate Frontside Skiers:The Pandora 85 is designed for skiers who prioritize groomed runs and want a lightweight ski that’s easy to control while improving technique. Newer riders and progressing intermediates will appreciate its forgiving flex and predictable feel when linking turns. It’s especially appealing to frontside-focused skiers who mostly stay on piste but occasionally explore the sides of the trail or softer afternoon snow. What It’s ForFrontside Groomer Performance:Built for clean arcs and confident carving on groomed terrain, the Pandora 85 thrives on corduroy, packed snow, and firm resort conditions. The narrower waist makes edge-to-edge transitions quick and intuitive, while subtle early rise helps smooth turn entry and maintain control if you venture off the main run into softer or mixed snow. Why We Like ItLightweight Feel with Smooth, Predictable Turns:We like the Pandora 85 because it blends easy handling with enough stability to build confidence as skills improve. The Aspen core keeps the ski light and lively, while the Capwall construction balances durability with precise energy transfer underfoot. The multi-radius 5-Cut sidecut encourages different turn shapes, so skiers can experiment with quick slashes or longer carves. It’s a dependable choice for frontside riders who want a ski that feels natural and responsive from the first run of the day.
