The
Lacoste Girls Piqué Polo Dress in Pink is a 100% cotton polo dress for girls, made in Egypt in Lacoste’s signature piqué fabric. It covers ages 3 to 16 years in a single listing — one of the widest age ranges of any dress on the site — and is cut as a traditional polo dress silhouette: a classic collar, button placket, and a dress-length hem without built-in shorts.
Piqué is a woven cotton with a raised, textured surface — the same fabric Lacoste has used for its polo shirts since the 1930s. It holds its shape better than plain jersey, resists creasing more effectively, and gives garments a more structured, refined appearance without requiring any special care beyond standard machine washing. On a dress silhouette, piqué reads as smart-casual rather than purely sporty, which is what makes this a genuinely versatile piece for girls across a wide range of occasions. The pink colourway is a warm, mid-toned pink — not a pale blush and not a vivid fuchsia — that works across spring and summer as a standalone dress and into autumn layered over a long-sleeve top.
Buying Advice
Layering: The polo collar and structured piqué fabric make this dress easy to layer. A fitted long-sleeve top or ribbed turtleneck underneath extends its wearability into cooler months without disrupting the silhouette. White, cream, and navy work particularly well under the pink colourway.
Fit: Lacoste Kids sizing tends to run true to age. The polo dress silhouette has a relaxed, A-line cut rather than a fitted one — it sits away from the body rather than following the shape, which makes it comfortable for active wear and easy to size without needing an exact fit.
Care: Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Wash separately from darker garments to avoid colour transfer onto the pink fabric. Do not tumble dry on high heat — this can affect the piqué texture and cause shrinkage. Reshape while damp and hang or lay flat to dry. Iron on a medium setting if needed.
