The
Lacoste Boys Pique Applique Fleece Crew Sweatshirt in Grey is a well-constructed everyday sweatshirt for boys aged 2 to 16. The piqué appliqué detail — a textured fabric treatment drawn from Lacoste's polo shirt heritage — lifts this above a plain crew sweatshirt without making it feel overdressed. Grey is one of the most versatile colourways in a child's wardrobe, and this boys' designer sweatshirt is designed to be worn regularly rather than saved for special occasions.
Made in Sri Lanka and tagged as non-seasonal, this is a piece that earns its place across the whole year — warm enough for autumn and winter, light enough for cooler spring days. The crew neck construction keeps it clean and unfussy, and the Lacoste branding is present through the appliqué detail rather than a large printed logo. For parents looking for a children's designer sweatshirt that works hard across multiple outfits and seasons, this is a reliable choice.
Buying Advice
Grey marl or mid-grey sweatshirts are among the easiest pieces to style in a child's wardrobe — they work with virtually any colour of trouser, jogger, or shorts. The crew neck sits neatly under a jacket or gilet without bunching, which makes this a good layering option for transitional weather. Sizing runs true to age; for a slightly more relaxed fit or to allow room to grow, sizing up by one is a sensible option. Wash at 30°C inside out and air dry to maintain the appliqué detail and prevent pilling on the fleece.
