The
Lacoste Boys Embroidered Badge Polo Shirt in Ivory stands out within the Lacoste Kids AW2026 polo range for two reasons: the embroidered badge detail and the ivory colourway. The badge is raised and stitched — a more tactile, considered finish than a flat-printed or woven logo — and it sits cleanly on the chest of a piqué cotton polo that's structured, breathable, and designed to look well-dressed without any effort from the wearer. Made from 100% cotton in Sri Lanka, it covers ages 2 to 16 years.
Ivory is a quieter, warmer alternative to white — it doesn't have the harshness of a bright white ground, which makes it more forgiving in photographs and in person. For a smart-casual occasion or a family event where you want a boy to look considered, ivory reads as a deliberate, well-chosen colourway rather than a default. The embroidered badge reinforces that impression without adding any visual clutter.
Buying Advice
Ivory will show marks more readily than navy or darker colourways, so it suits occasions with a defined duration rather than full-day active wear — something worth factoring in for younger boys. Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, inside out — turning the shirt inside out before washing is particularly important for embroidered pieces, as it protects the stitching from friction against the drum. Do not tumble dry; hang or lay flat to air dry to preserve both the embroidery and the piqué fabric structure. Lacoste Kids sizing runs true to age; size up for a relaxed fit or if your child is between sizes.
