The
Lacoste Boys Colourblock Polo Shirt in Green is a short-sleeve polo shirt for boys aged 2 to 16 years. It sits in the Polo Shirts category at Childsplay Clothing and is the green colourway of the Lacoste Kids colourblock polo shirt — the same 100% cotton construction, collar, and button placket as the navy version, in Lacoste’s founding colour.
Green is the most brand-specific colour choice in the Lacoste Kids polo shirt range. The polo shirt is the garment René Lacoste created in 1933, and green is the colour of the crocodile logo he wore on court from 1927 — a green polo shirt from Lacoste Kids is therefore the most direct expression of the brand’s founding identity available in the children’s range. The colourblock design adds contrasting colour panels at the collar, placket, or cuffs, giving the polo a sport-influenced graphic detail that references Lacoste’s tennis heritage without relying on logo placement alone. The 100% cotton construction is breathable and comfortable for all-day wear, and the collar and button placket extend the polo’s occasion range beyond what a crew-neck T-shirt covers. This is a designer boys’ polo shirt that works across casual and smart-casual contexts, made in Sri Lanka.
Buying Advice
Green polo vs navy polo for outfit building: The green polo makes a stronger colour statement than the navy version and is more immediately recognisable as a Lacoste piece. It works best as the primary colour in an outfit — pair with navy, white, grey, or khaki bottoms rather than competing colours. For boys who already wear a lot of navy, the green polo adds a deliberate colour accent; for boys who prefer a more neutral wardrobe base, the navy polo is the more versatile everyday choice.
Polo shirt collar care: Button the top button before washing to help the collar maintain its shape. Machine wash at 30°C inside out on a gentle cycle. Avoid tumble drying on high heat, which can cause the collar to curl at the edges. Do not iron directly on any branded details. Always follow the care label on the garment.
Styling the green colourway: The Lacoste mid-green coordinates naturally with the navy pieces in the AW2026 range — the green polo worn under the navy varsity jacket or over navy joggers creates a colour combination that references Lacoste’s core palette directly. For a single-brand coordinated outfit, the green polo is the most brand-coherent top choice in the range.
