The upper is made of abrasion resistant fabric with Thermo Tech Injection, special structural applications in overinjected thermoplastic material to minimize seams and keep weight to a minimum. The drawstring to the toe allows for maximum volume adjustment and the loop hooks help to hold even more weight.
