What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I handed the Campground Kit to a friend who had never camped before, and they were set up and comfortable in under ten minutes. The self-inflating pad pairs perfectly with the bag, and the fact that everything packs into one stuff sack means there is one less thing to forget at home."The first camping trip should feel like the beginning of something, not a logistics puzzle. Kelty put the Campground Kit together so that getting outside for the first time is as simple as throwing it in the car and going. The 40°F-rated sleeping bag and matched self-inflating pad give you everything needed for a comfortable night at the campsite, and they pack together into a single stuff sack so nothing gets left behind on the way out the door. The rectangular sleeping bag opens fully flat if the night turns warm or you want more room to spread out, and it zips together with a second bag for two people sharing a site. The CloudLoft synthetic insulation keeps things cozy without the fuss of down, and the self-inflating pad handles the work of getting you off the ground, so the only thing left to do is find a good spot and settle in.
