What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve put the Protone Icon through long rides in high heat and it's one of the best-ventilated helmets I’ve used. It’s featherlight, stays snug with the OCTOFIT+ dial, and doesn’t shift when I turn my head to check traffic. The sleek profile cuts down on drag without feeling race-only."From hot summer road rides to all-day training blocks, the Protone Icon Helmet from Kask offers unmatched comfort, aerodynamics, and refined style. We count on it for everything from big climbs to group rides thanks to its lightweight polycarbonate construction and a fit system that dials in secure comfort for hours on the saddle.Kask’s updated design builds on their award-winning Protone line, with improved internal airflow and a reengineered internal skeleton that boosts structural integrity. Inside, Coolmax padding wicks moisture quickly, while the OCTOFIT+ retention system makes fine-tuning the fit intuitive and secure—even with gloves on. The helmet meets KASK’s WG11 rotational impact testing standards and complies with the CPSC safety standard, giving us confidence at any speed.
