A Retro ClassicThe Boys’ Grade School Air Jordan Retro 8 is the classic model in sizing and colorways for kids. One of Michael Jordan’s most iconic signature sneakers, the Jordan 8 was originally released in 1993 as his eighth signature model. It features what is undoubtedly one of the most unique designs in the entire Air Jordan line. Perhaps the most “90s” Air Jordan of them all when considering the design aesthetics of the era, the Jordan 8 comes from the days of big straps and colorful prints. Another amazing Air Jordan by Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, the Jordan 8 features a cross-strap system that wraps across the upper of the foot for lockdown support and extra flair. The design then gets even more eye-catching with TPU panels at the heel that are covered in graphic prints. An inner bootie design provides a snug, foot-hugging fit, while a large chenille Jumpman logo patch on the tongue adds the final signature touch.Legendary On and Off the CourtThe Air Jordan 8 is quite significant to Michael Jordan’s history on the court, as it was the shoe he wore on the way to his third championship in 1993. The Jordan 8 also holds a special place as the final signature shoe he wore before his first retirement from basketball from 1993-95. The shoe is definitely important off the court, as well, as a favorite model of collectors around the globe thanks to its bold retro style. The children’s sizing for the Jordan 8 is featured in iconic original colorways that arrive whenever the men’s version is re-released, as well as all-new color schemes by today’s Jordan Brand design team.
