Mercury glass was prized as one of the first decorative styles of glass in an era where the material was used to be utilitarian. This lamp base presents a modern interpretation of the mercury glass effect with a silver sprayed interior and beautiful variegated ribbing on the round body. Finished with polished silver-tone accents and a cotton drum shade, this piece harkens to the best design elements of the past while looking decidedly modern.
