What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve put a few young anglers in this hoodie, and it’s become a favorite for hot days. The fabric breathes well, the hood stays in place in windy conditions, and the UPF protection means I don’t have to rely solely on sunscreen."Hours on the water, casts that add up, and warm sun overhead all call for lightweight protection that kids don’t have to think about. The Huk Icon Hoodie delivers that balance with a smooth, breathable design that keeps them comfortable through changing conditions. Huk builds this layer with fishing-focused features that help young adventurers stay outside longer without overheating.A mesh back panel increases airflow when the day heats up, and the raglan sleeves keep movement easy whether they’re casting, exploring the shoreline, or spending the afternoon on a boat. Quick-drying fabric manages sweat and splashes, while built-in UPF 50+ protection and a shaped hood provide dependable sun coverage. It’s a simple, effective layer designed to keep kids protected and comfortable through full active days outdoors.
