How can you enhance your photography and filmmaking skills with precision and creative control The answer lies in the 55mm PROND EX 64 Neutral Density 1.8 6-Stop Filter from Hoya. This high-quality, durable filter is an essential tool for both photographers and filmmakers, enabling precise control over the amount of light that passes through the lens. This results in greater creative control over exposure, allowing filmmakers to match shutter speeds to their frame-rate while maintaining the desired depth-of-field. Photographers, on the other hand, can leverage this versatile filter to use longer exposures or achieve a shallow depth-of-field even in bright sunlight.Unlike many neutral density filters that suffer from unpredictable "color shift" due to low-quality materials, poor manufacturing, and neglect of the infrared band of the light spectrum, this reliable filter utilizes Hoya's exclusive ACCU-ND technology. This innovative technology ensures equal reduction of light in both visible and IR spectrums, eliminating any negative effects from color shift. This means you can confidently use Hoya ND filters in various shooting conditions without worrying about color shift. The 55mm PROND EX 64 Neutral Density 1.8 6-Stop Filter is efficiently mounted into a lightweight, precision-milled aluminum frame. It includes front filter threads, allowing you to attach additional filters or a protective lens cap. This filter is also a popular tool for shooting video, especially when using cameras like Sony in Slog mode where ISO cannot be set below 800.Whether you're looking to achieve cinematic quality in your videos or express a surreal world in your photographs, this filter offers the flexibility to combine or "stack" with other PROND EX filters. For instance, combining PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 64 results in an effect equivalent to an ND500 filter, while stacking PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 1000 equals an ND8000 effect, allowing you to capture even the surface of the sun without overexposure. In essence, the 55mm PROND EX 64 Neutral Density 1.8 6-Stop Filter from Hoya is a versatile, reliable, and efficient tool that enhances your creative control, making it an indispensable asset for every photographer and filmmaker..
