With the 49mm Warm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter, a unique product born from the exclusive partnership between Hoya and esteemed wildlife photographer B. Moose Peterson of Wildlife Research Photography, you can enhance your photography experience. This innovative filter combines the features of a polarizer and an 81A warming filter, making it a valuable addition to your camera gear. For decades, photographers have relied on polarizers to eliminate reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, and to intensify contrast in blue skies for more vibrant scenic photography. However, traditional linear polarizers often lead to exposure errors with today's auto-focus camera bodies that use split beam metering systems, which utilize a polarized half mirror. Our 49mm Warm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter overcomes this issue by offering the same optical effect as a linear polarizer without interfering with modern metering systems. Both linear and circular polarizers tend to give a slightly bluish tinge to the overall color balance of a scene, often referred to as "cooling down" the image. This is where the 81A warming filter comes into play. It corrects the color temperature, restoring the scene to the original 5500K, which is the ideal color balance for daylight film. The result is a more pleasing, warm color balance across the entire scene. In addition, the circular polarizer enhances color contrast and minimizes the impact of atmospheric haze, ensuring your photos are always clear and vibrant. Experience the difference with the 49mm Warm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter, and elevate your photography to new heights..
